At $1100 for parts and installation, 4.08 Final Drive is the best bang for the buck TORQUE modification.

And while we all talk HP, we drive torque.

I understand that's how it is but that doesn't mean its right. It doesn't help that we enable the vendors by paying those prices and not demanding cheaper stuff.

Nitrous is by far the best bang for the Buck for both HP/tq. $600 and you can bolt on a 100hp/100tq.

Explain to me how $600 for maybe 10hp is better than $600 for 100hp?

An Uprev or Technosquare reflash + a good intake is nice. But personally, after having every bolt-on mod available for my G, I say save up for a supercharger kit.

However, as stated above, for pure bang for the buck power, nothing beats nitrous.

My car picked up about 18 wheel after a tune. Granted it's not nitrous but it's not a chevy either.

Ok. So 18hp for $600 or 100hp for $600? And what does being a chevy have to do with anything?

For me nitrous was never an option, because it's not something I could enjoy on a daily-driven G day in and day out. Might be different for others here.

For starters, the UpRev doesn't run out. Remember it's 600 initial investment, and then you gotta fill the bottle, again and again. And trust me, you tend to run out of nitrous at the worst possible times.

For $70 a refill its worth the 80+HP. And unless you go WOT all the time a bottle should last you quite a long time. Hell you could go down to a 25-50hp shot and make the bottle last even longer and STILL make more power than a tune.
