Best bang for your buck whp mods..

Because the sad reality is that you need to drop 3k or so to even get + 20-30 hp for this car when a supercharger can be had for a few thousand more. Of course a tt is a only a few thousand more than that...*sigh* slippery slopes

The short answer is, yes, bolt-ons will give you some power (looks like the average for intakes + CBE + tune (sometimes w/ HFC) is around 20 hp with some people going +/- 15) BUT that's for about 3k...

I'm going to go out on a limb here and also suggest the Hypertech tuner. Removing the 0-60 throttle restriction really makes this feel like a whole new car.
Plus, you can remove their tune whenever you want... and sell the thing down the road if you ever get another car.
HP gains aren't all that significant according to their own dynos, but when you can fully open up the throttle under 60mph, you honestly won't care.

F/I is only way to go. There is really no alternative for the VQ's. With me in a stock 350z vs. a 350z with every n/a mod available, I pulled on him several times with highway roll runs. The same will be said for the VQ37.

F/I is outta the question for me...I wanna try and stay in the warranty. At least with a few bolt ons most dealers are ok with it.
200 bux for a test pipe...seriously its just a tube with a bung on it for the 02 sensor
Wow those exhaust systems are crazy expensive too. Any good reviews with people making their own with maganaflows?
The Hyper Tech tuner gets rid of that restriction? Looks very promising
thx guys for chiming in

easy there...
I'm just saying a local pipe shop can make you one for 80bux or so...there's no science to a TP, just a straight pipe with a bung on it.
Thx for all the replies. Sux, I was hoping to hear like aftermarket headers are crazy good for these engines and made big numbers
