That's 93 octane mixed 50/50 with 108 octane to approximately make it 100. Unfortunately, some of us aren't blessed with the ability to head to our local Exxon to get race fuel.
14hp gain? not bad, but I wouldn't call that a good mix. If they emptied the gas tank. and poured a 50/50 stirred mix, than I would believe it more.

Well, like in said in my post #9, I searched “higher octane” and got 68 hits. And there’s the other recent repeat in October (why did you pick the sedan over a coupe?) where it was easy to find a duplicate from June entitled “So, why did you choose the Sedan over the Coupe, or Vice Versa?” Having said that I do agree that it is sometimes difficult to find what you’re looking for via the search function. But it’s my sense that all too often some posters never bother to search at all.

If you feel that I’m scolding OP’s on this please know it is not my intent, and I’m sorry if I gave that impression. If the moderators are not concerned over these duplicates, then I will certainly bud out.

I didn't realize you were in charge of quality control for this site. I thought that's why there were moderators. Anyway I've been reading the site for almost a year and haven't seen this topic discussed so while this may be old news to you it's fresh to others. I'll also add a big + 1 to everything that was said about the search feature being Imperfect.

Again, this detracts from the quality of the forum.

That is why our posting rules clearly state:

7. Before posting, use the search function.

Considering there are a few threads going on right now that are repeats of the same topic covered recently, I would like to see more of us to first try the search function. Frankly, I don’t understand why my pointing this out bothers you.
