Engine Shield - Underneath Engine

We need to get a group buy together - here are pictures of what the shrouds look like. Decide on whether

1. Flat black PC or brushed aluminum finish
2. Vents or no vents
3. Hardware kit or just reuse factory

Brushed Aluminum version for G37

Brush Aluminum version for the G37X

Brushed Aluminum version for the G37 with vent - AWD version would be similar. The oil door has lines that match up with the rest of the shroud to make it look complete.

Same things but in Flat Black Powdercoated finish

Somehow I totally missed this thread. I sent you my under shield for test fitting/measurements. I like the 3 piece. Will it have additional cooling vents like the other ones you have for the G35?

I'd be interested in one for a 37X sedan. Almost impossible to find. I'll even send over the splash guard!

oo exactly what i was looking for...

but i removed the plastic underliner because i was scraping it too much. With this im certainly sure it will scrape.

How much lower does this sit than the original piece? 1"?

I can integrate cooling vents if you'd like. I'm test fitting on Saturday and I'll take a few pics of the prototype.

Can you take a picture of your splash guard and send it to me? Is the G37X similar to the G35X where the oil filter is located towards the front of then engine where the RWD version is located to the rear passenger side?

Price point is set to be around $200 + shipping HOWEVER

IF WE GET A GROUP BUY we can do an introductory pricing and drive that down.

This won't necessarily sit much lower than the original piece - you won't really scrape too often with this. However, it will still allow for you to utilize a 1" oil pan spacer if you'd like.

My splash shield is pretty messed up. I did find an image from a store though that might help.

Ok, I'll need to check on it, but it looks like the G37X is very similar to the G35X - but it probably has the same dimensional changes that took places between the G35 -> G37 (a little wider, hole locations, etc).

Definitely add cooling vents - as many as you can possibly add. Any additional cooling on this engine is a plus. Thanks.

I forgot to mention that I have a g35X 2nd gen sedan (2007). I assume it has the same splash shield as the g37 sedans.

I think you're right. They all use an HR motor, so all 2007-2010 AWD version should be the same, and the 2007/2008-2010 3.5 and 3.7 HR motors are probably all the same.

What I find interesting is that the 370Z still has the same design as the G35.

I just need to meet up with my test vehicle one more time.

So what's the status of this? You still have my splash shield so I'm naked underneath the car waiting on this until it's finished. Any update?
