hey guys, sorry for the slow update

My company has been ultra busy and one of my test fitters schedule hasn't been lining up very well.

STATUS UPDATE:

I need to test fit one more time before production, just to make sure its perfect.

Quickest way to get ahold of me is to PM me on g35driver.

If you want my cell number send me a message and I'll give it to someone for quicker updates.

Also, PM on driver is generally quicker than myg37 since I default there more often and have to remind myself to come here Sorry about that :S

John

I didnt forget about you guys...just been busy

I did another test fit finally. I had to make a few adjustments again. The FINAL version should be cut and bent tomorrow. Test fit should happen much quicker this go around. I have a few other people helping with test fitment now.

I will update as things as soon as I can.

Yup. Its a very clean piece. Many of the G35 crowd have them for extra protection. Better to lose a shroud than the lower oil pan. In any case, I haven't been able to test a G37X just yet, but I assume its the same as the G37 with a different oil door location.

Glad to here they'll be out soon. Can't wait for the G37X sedan version. Will you be doing a group buy promotion?

I plan to do an initial group buy option, yes

I still need to ensure that the G37X has the same design

Ok, I have finished the G37 and G37X aluminum undershrouds - fitment is good to go.

So, now we need to get a group buy setup for those who are interested.

Couple of questions:

#1) Brush Aluminum or Flat Black PC?
- For the G35 guys most have liked the Brushed for the $30 difference in price. It is aluminum and therefore rust is not a concern. Rattle can paint works just fine if you want to change the color and its a much cheaper option. Its on the bottom of the car so it shouldn't be a big deal but you guys choose.

#2) It will utilize the stock bolts and clips OR i can have a hardware kit included.
- Essentially a difference of $10.

#3) Design or no designs
- Air cooling vents (not for function so much as form) I'll get a pic up. Increases price due to extra laser cutting time. $10-20.

So does that include the sedans? Have you confirmed that the G37X sedan shrouds will fit the second gen G35X sedans (I'm pretty sure they should)?

I'm definitely interested in the plain aluminum and hardware kit.

Brushed Aluminum version for G37

Brush Aluminum version for the G37X

Brushed Aluminum version for the G37 with vent - AWD version would be similar. The oil door has lines that match up with the rest of the shroud to make it look complete.

Same things but in Flat Black Powdercoated finish

I have not yet confirmed fitment for the HR G35X but given that it is the same motor I have little doubt that it will fit the same.

Personally i would want a black one with the hardware kit and without the vents.
But if it ends up being the brushed aluminum i would be fine with it.
