Well with that type of power he has, he would have to feather 1st and 2nd to get any type of traction. I wouldn't launch anymore then 2500 on street tires.

thats why i saw aswell i dont understand why he ran a 13.2 it must be the tires.

i had toyo r888 on the back and came out at 2200 when i ran the 13.27 car bunny hop thrrough 1st 2.3 were my 60 ft then i lower the tire pressure to 15 lbs came out at 1500 and thats when she popped its to bad i was up against a super charge gt 500 cobra

Looking at boosted Z's, it's usually the axle that goes. If it was your axle(s), there are heavy duty options.

Sounds like severe wheel hop and then the axle popped. Until then, you'll be "launching" like one of us old guys, nice and easy.

Mind you, I've never taken this car to the track and don't intend to. There are much better platforms for that type of driving than these cars.
