Take a pencil and balance it on your finger.

Now, lower one side like it hit a dip. What happened to the other side?

Crude example, but same concept.

It's starting to look like the 5.0L Mustang is America's M3 (they mentioned that in the video) because it performs nearly identically in every aspect. I was shocked that the Mustang has a shorter stopping distance than the M3.
I'd attribute it to the mustang's front tires being larger than the M3's. Although the M3's tires are nearly square, they're still staggered.

255/255 vs 245/265.

The M3 does have WAY larger brakes in the back...

Mustang also has a fatter powerband, and is lighter than the M3....

Again, I wanna see what the Boss 302 can do, cuz its has minimal power upgrades, but supposed to have some significant suspension and aero gains.

But you can't compare the Mustang with the G. The G is a 4 door semi luxury sedan where as the Mustang is a coupe with a not-so-nice interior. Don't get me wrong I love the new 5 liter v8 in the stang, that makes it the best performance car (straight line) for its price but quality wise its non-comparable to the G.

You seem to be ignoring the fact that the G also comes as as coupe and is not all that different than the Mustang. Both are RWD performance-oriented coupes with available 6-speed manual transmissions.

Didn't they say the Mustang was 60 lbs heavier than the M3? I'll have to look up the specs, but I thought both cars were about 3600 lbs (which means they are both fat pigs).

I've owned a few V8 Mustangs in the past and I can tell you that they can get a little rough if you hit a bump during a sweeping turn. The back end tends to almost "hop" when you do that in a live axle car. I also own a 4Runner with a live axle and is amazing how well Toyota set it up for comfort. It exhibits none of the bad habits that you'd see in a car like a Mustang. In fact, most people wouldn't even know they were in a live axle vehicle when driving it.

they can still be considered same class as option when looking for a car, but they are still two different cars and class.

if you want a more upscale car then G is perfect, if you want a raw sports car then the Mustang is perfect.

The G is a lux car, but only under the Infiniti brand. The Mustang and G are both cars in the same class, the difference being the amenities offered.

Imagine a mustang, but with standard leather, power seats, great audio system, etc.
