Anyone upgrade the stock radiator?

Yea I'm not looking for better numbers just cooler water temps. It gets to around 115 to 121 in las vegas and sitting still in traffic is no good. Coolant got up to 143 a couple weeks ago so that was fun. Everything seems to be forthe g35 at the moment. Wonder of they have a retrofit, haven't seen anything.
our radiator does a pretty good job cooling the coolant. don't think you need it unless your water temp always hovers over 210-220. if that's the case you'll need a new thermostat so that it opens at a much lower temp. or you can upgrade your radiator fan and hook up a manual switch to it.
Wait a minute, are you talking about the outside temperature display??? That has squat to do with your car's cooling system! That's outside air temperature and it's not particularly accurate all the time, especially when you first start the car after sitting in hot temperatures like LV.
Your coolant temperature and oil temperature are what matter for your engine. They are both significantly higher than 143 while your car's running. We have no stock oil temp gauge. The coolant temp gauge should point right about halfway up when operating normally.

the temp gauge is not going to go above half on your dashboard until it is overheating as far as i know. only time ive seen that was in my work truck a while ago when the thermostat broke and it would go all the way to the top, and thought my car was overheating.

how are you monitoring your water temps???

lol! hahaha! i thought for a minute how can his coolant temps be so low? our normal coolant temp is somewhere between 170-190. anything after i believe 210 our fan should kick on.
