6mt shifter
is it just me or is the stick shift not directly in the middle its slightly on the left??
when im in 4 it kinda looks like im in 2nd

Does your shifter vibrate a lot when in nuetral? And by vibrate a lot I mean noticeably a lot. I drove a G37 recently at the dealer with a manual and I wanted to know if this is "normal"? I expected better from Infiniti... Or do you think it could have just been a problem with that particular car. Btw they were selling it for 33K with 13,000 miles. I was kinda unimpressed. :-/

While in a rear wheel drive car the tranny is right under the spot between the driver and passenger. The stick a lot of times is directly connected to the tranny. This leads to vibrations being put directly onto the shifter ****. This is normal on most rear wheel drive cars that are 6mt. You should see the stick on some classic american muscle cars. You can see the shifter **** vibrate back and forth a few inches

Your dad's honda accord like my 2002 max 6mt is a front wheel drive car. The transmission is in the engine bay. The shifter has either a cable or wires connected to a little lever that will shift the gears. The vibrations are dulled out. If you take the **** apart it looks like stick with a ball at the end with 2 wires or rods going toward teh front of the car. Vibrations are lost through the wires or rods.

. Good luck with whatever you get! But 33K sounds like too much for used with any mileage, I agree.

Wow, you guys are getting screwed up there. Even though the exchange rate went way down you're still paying more.
For someone who lists their home as SoCal, I'd say that makes 33K an even worse deal. Obviously a lot depends on options though.
