JWT oil pan spacer kit

Has anyone purchased the JWT oil pan spacer kit? Was wondering how the quality was? What kind of hardware was included with the kit? Also will this create an oil leak by any chance? Any installed pics would be great too. Thanks

If you want extra capacity, just buy the Greddy VQHR37 oil pan and skip the spacer.

i bought that just to tap additional sensors. i'd rather drill that than my oil pan or engine block.

I would imagine the sedan is the same as the coupe. I just wanted to add a little extra oil to the motor even though I probably dont need it cause I never track or drive my car hard. Just extra insurance.

Oil pan is made of fairly thick metal.

I installed one of these on a sedan. Fitment was really nice. Only issue is the bolt on the drivers rear corner. The spacers so thick there's no room to tighten the bolt down. You have to lift the engine some to fit anything in there

I read somewhere at the 370z.com were dealing with something similar too. Now I'm wondering if I should install it and just tap my sensor to my oil pan instead.

Theres a thread showing the install on the370.com. But the guy cut one of the under tray mounting holes out to get to his. The subframes different on the X sedans so that isnt a option. Not sure on the coupes or rear wheel drive cars. Been over a year since I was under a 37

AGREED! Seemed like kind of a hack install on the Z. All you need to do is loosen the engine mount some and lift the motor up. No big deal really. Just a extra step that isnt in the instructions

Our cars might be slightly different from the 370. I hope I won't have to do all that work just to get the oil pan in place lol. If that's the case I rather tap my oil pan and call it a day. And maybe that guy didn't have all the correct tools, who knows.

Is lifting the motor really as easy as you seem to say it is for those without access to a lift or air tools?
