Engine Internals
Well, i have no mods yet but I'm eventually looking to go FI and to play it safe by getting forged internals. I tried to do a search and came up with nothing. If you would share your thoughts/concerns/info about good forged internals, that would be great.

if you are concern about going TT and want to play it safe than you are looking to spend 4k on internal parts from either z-1 performance automotive or Forged Performance. But it's better knowing your rods, piston can handle the power.

Going F/I is not a cheap route to go. Your best bet would be to call GTM and talk to Sam. Building this motor is not a cheap job and takes alot of time and attention to detail. My setup was not cheap by no means, but on the other hand im still running on stock internals.

Ahh i see, well im excited to see what the end result is. Another problem for me is im an automatic, wanted to go manual, but i got the "durr you live in the city and would end up hating a manual with the stop and go traffic." but when life gives you lemons, make lemonade (i think thats how it goes ).

because GTM makes them in house...so pricing will be different. Others are brand name so take it for what it is worth. @ 16 you got a lot of hopes and dreams. Plus you got to look @ installation price unless you DIY. not only that...you can go down the line on how much you will be spending...well of course depends on what route you take.
