Going to GTM is a 10k all-at-once expense... you're not old enough to have credit cards, let alone lines of credit that big...

You're right, i guess the master card in my wallet that has my name on it is just in my imagination -.-

But on a serious note, that doesnt mean i cant use another card and pay that person in cash, now does it?

Also means you could have spent more on the car... unless it was given to you.

Mastercard is just a means of performing a transaction. You can't have lines of credit unless you're a legal adult. My debit cards have Visa and MC logos, but they're not credit cards...

If you really had 10k lying around, FI isn't what I'd spend it on first.

He's 16 years old and drives a G37... do you think he's making monthly payments?

Get some wheels, coilovers, tint, exhaust, other supporting mods you will most likely need/want to get before you even think about diving into F/I. There are so many ideas on this forum I owe alot to the community for helping me make my decisions for my car. But at the end of the day its your money and your car. Try posting up pictures of your ride.

I already have rims and tint. i was thinking something along the lines of buy the kit, then then jsut have it in my possession and once i get my exhaust taken care of and installed, ill install the FI. In addition, i figured i would go coilovers after FI, i decided on KW V3s a while ago. i have a picture of it in my garage if you would like to see

thanks for the advice, i will consider it.

look into oil cooler, sway bars, brake kits, intakes, BB grounding wires, strut-bar, exhaust. Most of the kits come with injectors and fuel pumps if your planing to go F/I later on.

As far as looks go I see your interested in carbon fiber. You can get trunk, hood, spoiler, and almost the entire interior can be CF. You can also have the headlights done. even a stillen splitter. Personally I hate CF. but if thats your cup of tea go for it.

And i want better pictures than the one in your garage.!!! DO IT OR BAN!

If you decide to do it, just be careful. When I was 16, there was always a lot of peer-pressure going on, "get on it...RACE HIM!" Those are the things that will put your life in jeopardy along with the other innocent bystanders on the road.

There is so much more you can do with $16k-20k when you are 16 years old and already driving a 330hp $45K car...like putting it away for college, or a down payment on a house after college. To each his own I suppose.

If you want some CF parts there's a chick selling a CF hood and trunk on the DFW Craigslist for 700 bucks.
