I would recommend that you just enjoy your car the way it is. Being so young, it is almost inevitable that you will make a bad decision and trash your car. Not trying to pick on you, but I know how it is around that age group. 300 HP is already plenty to show off to your friends. Save up your money for the next generation of the G.

pfftt...now we are old? i guess 25 is old. I should retire. Look, if he was on the370z guys would be all over him. I did not go that route with him. Just suggested prices @ what he would look at. He is 16, and nice that he determine but do research, and take step by step. Unless you got the cash and want to blow it all on that is your choice. Just do the research on the370z since they are more performance orientated, not saying the g37 arent but they are known to do the upgrades.

For that much horsepower, you are going to have to sweet talk daddy a lot.
I'm just going to brainstorm here.
At least $6000 for a base supercharger system.
Probably $2000+ in supercharger upgrades.
$3000+ for parts for a built shortblock.
Probably $1500-$2000 for labor assembling the bottom end.
Another $1500 easy for a custom exhaust that can flow that much air.
Somebody has to tune that new combo and that will cost anywhere from $500-$1500 depending on who and how long and if there are any issues.
I can think of another grand or two I would spend just in the sensors and gauges I'd need to monitor the system.
So, let's say you spent 15 grand and have 600-700hp... Little side note for you, there are a couple G37's/370Z's that have spent over $25K and still haven't made it to the 600hp mark. Anyway, let's say you do end up with 600-700hp, now what? You need a new clutch or a lot of transmission work to handle that power. If you have an auto, GTM makes a stage 3 tranny good for 600hp and it will only cost you $4600. That is, if you have that type of transmission. If not, back to the drawing board. What about the differential? The stock lsd is crap from the factory and the cheapest decent alternative is a grand (the good ones cost a lot more than that). How about those half-shafts? I know someone makes those custom because I've asked about them before. I was also told if you have to ask for the price you can't afford them. I hope I'm wrong there.
But then there is the good chance I have no idea what I'm talking about. I'm wrong all the time. I'd love for someone to hit 600+hp (driveable and reliable) for a third the cost I think it will take, say... 10 grand. I'd drop that dime in a heartbeat.

Welcome on board first of all..
What's your budget may I ask?
Just an FYI, the more you explain yourself the more **** you'll drag yourself into, especially on online forums. Just keep this thread about your HP plans and save yourself the headache lol

Not to troll in the least bit, but i want to get this squared away right from the get go. just because im 16 doesnt mean "daddy" pays for what i do, he supports me in what i want to do, but he WILL NOT pay for it, the cash needed for it is up to me. he has money, true, but he worked his *** off for years to get where he is and he makes me do the same.

In that case, you're better off with a stage 1 kit and stock internals (400-500whp)
Will cost way more than 15k to hit the 700whp mark safely
