total time took about 2 1/2 hours. here's some pic's from start to finished. enjoy!
first i installed the oil cooler on the car.
then i cut some holes and run the hoses through
after that drain your oil and remove your oil filter. then install the sandwich plate. it took me a bit to jiggle with the hoses to clear all obstacles on the frame then i used some foam insulation to wrap up the hoses to protect it from rubbing against metal. finally got it on!
Where did you buy the oil cooler from? How many degrees did your oil temp drop on average?
got it from
Amplifiedmotorsports.
i'm not sure how many degrees it drop since i don't have a oil temp gauge yet. well, i just bought the oil temp sensor for the hks camp2 but it's far too complicated just to get that installed. waiting for my oil pan spacer to come in so i can tap it there to get the readings. i'll let you know soon.
That's not gonna help much for a supercharger or turbo application. It'll help cuz you're able to run a extra quart of oil but I don't see this bypass have cooling abilities.
