True, and adding exhaust restriction to solve an issue isn't the way to go IMO

lol you guys are too much.
Kaver. I am not running fully stock. i have stack headers and cats but FI cat back on the car now.
Here is the fact of th3e matter. FI LTH do not play nice with GTM's SC set up.
I will now leave it up to you guys to bitch and moan about why or whay not. But until someone who actually has tuned and made a SC kit for these cars all answers are horse crap.

Is it the general consensus here that people are looking at it as a negative if the stock headers allow the supercharger to perform better? I'm certainly not an expert, but I don't really think it's a matter of "adding restriction" as opposed to the system simply demanding backpressure for optimal performance. Am I wrong? (I admit that I very well could be... )
But, for example, (and I realize that these are not Shumby's headers) I know Stillen puts a little footnote at the bottom of the page advertising their headers telling you to consult them before installing them on a F/I vehicle. STILLEN : STILLEN 350Z / G35 / G37 / 370Z Headers

I hope GTM is able to become CARB certified, that would be great.
Shumby, how are you enjoying your car?

Okay Shumby, on a real note when they installed your supercharger did they increase your idle? Stock idle is 650rpm, but they normally increase it to 800-850rpm, any idle issues? I have a specific reason why I ask; I have an aftermarket flywheel and a uprev tune that is giving me issues when I increase the stock idle from 650-800 (rough idle every 20 seconds or so).
Idle is typically increased with bigger injectors, as larger injectors have trouble with smaller amounts of fuel.

Actually with a SC, they increase idle rpm to make enough power to overcome the parasitic losses for the SC pulley
