g37x 2010 wow 7 speed

got a loaner, wow this is vastly improved over the last one I had.
from 1500 - 3000 it is very linear.
my coupe is not so great down low.
mid range pull is very impressive for the sedan with the extra weight.

wonder how the xs feels?
last time the car had 17s goodyear rs-a
it was loose as can be, this time the grip was extremely smooth.
body lean does not exist it seems in the sedan.
to all you sedan x guys, nice rides.

Actually, the sedan is lighter than the coupe.

I don't doubt that, just seems like infiniti tuned it good from the factory.
and the grip,insane.
still can't believe with 17s.

glad you like it risky. just imagine what an X feels like when you put summer tires, drop the thing on coils, and add some bracing to the suspension...trust me, it rides like rails

makes me wonder why I have a coupe.
considering coupes usually are better handling.
I'm feeling the x, gonna have to try an x sport model.

I have an xS .. the grip is insane compared to the 2006 G35x I had. Mid corner bumps are also more controlled and smooth. The structure is a lot more sturdy. The VDC would come on a lot more often on my 2006 G35x. The 2010 barely rolls until ... ohhhhhh say sharp bend at 140 km/h+, then you wish it has a firmer and lower suspension setup. BUT, the current setup is perfect for everyday use cuz I don't like it too harsh since I don't do high high speed too too too too often :P

BTW, thanks to fellow forumers, I checked my tire pressure and lowered it from 44 psi (from factory) to now 35 psi and the ride is sooooo much smoother.

just got mine in April. my favorite time to drive this car is when its raining with wet pavement. im always so excited to be the first one at the light, green comes and i rip off like a fool! The grip on the wet pavement is tremendous. very impressed with this cars engine, trans and road feel.

The RSAs are horribile. I replaced mine early last winter for Yokohama W Drives. I picked up some S Drives this spring. The car is a blast to drive with the summer tires. I love to take curves and turns with some speed.

Really, you think the 6MT is faster than the 7AT? From everything I can determine, the 7AT is faster than either the 6MT or the older 5AT at the dragstrip. Punching it at speed is a different thing entirely. At certain speeds (like 40 - 45 mph) the 7AT does not downshift agressively enough. And it doesn't downshift to 1st at all unless you stop or downshift manually. This means punching it at 10 mph it is a dog. You can take care of this by shifting manually, but I wish the 7AT was a bit more consistant and agressive at downshifting.
