Just go down the street and pick up some HFC's from Tony at FI.
PS...knew this day was coming.
I'm sure you will be more than pleased with the results even with your stockies back on.
PS...you can't have my cats either...so don't even think about it...they are marked!

If the air gets out quicker, that means more air coming in later on can flow in easier in the next cycle

I'm thinking the cam timing is off so there is overlap which is reducing pressure. Basically he's not building enough boost before the intake cam closes because it's all escaping too quickly through the exhaust cam due to the reduced backpressure caused by the LTH's when compared to the stock headers. I could be way off.

Shumby, are you running a 180 degree thermostat on the oil cooler? If so how did Sam mount everything up with the oil filter relocation kit? I wouldn't stress too much on the 4 psi, Sam will straighten it out. At least you know with some back pressure things will be good.

You keep calling it "timing"... timing is when the spark hits. You need to have control over that too but you're having trouble with overlap. Or at least that is what you think the issue is. You're right in that you could have ultimate control if you could adjust the VVEL. The valve events are the issue you're assuming is the problem right, not the spark timing?
