Has anyone flushed and refilled PSF?
Our manual calls fof Genuine Nissan PSF or equivalent in the power steering system. There is a footnote that in Canada "NISSAN Automatic Transmission Fluid or DEXRON VI type ATF may also be used." As there is no significant mechanical differences between Canadian models and American models (except DRL, metric vs standard, etc.) is there any good reason why US spec cars can't also use a synthetic fluid like DEX VI?
Have any or you regular track guys installed a power steering cooler and if so what did you refill with?

My factory service manual reads slightly differently :
Genuine NISSAN PSF or equivalent (then a link to footnote *7)
Footnote 7 says:
*7: DEXRON™ VI type ATF or Canada NISSAN Automatic Transmission Fluid may also be used.
I don't know what "Canada Nissan ATF means," but the way I read that you can use Dexron VI either way.
Edit: actually the owner's manual for my '09 has the exact same wording as my fsm
