There is no real cure for the transmission - from what I have read (and I have no personal experience with this, so I may be wrong) the trans control unit is not a part of the canbus (the vehicle's LAN), so it can't be accessed via the ODBII port, so tuners can't really get to it via normal routes, although obviously the dealer has a way to access the TCU because they flash them all the time.

You would need a valve body upgrade. Stillen and GTM offer these services.

Not unless you want slower upshifts. IMO, I don't think it's funny - I'm irritated as hell that the G's tranny cannot be tuned. I've alwasy assumed any modern tranny's program can be altered by a competent tuner, but no, not this car. Very, very irritating. Would make a big difference in performance.

Valve body upgrade and grounding kit are your best bet.

What happened to the auto owners saying their shifts were so sporty and how shifts were faster than any 6MT, blah blah blah?

you can increase the Transmission Commanded Line Pressure by tuning the Electronic Throttle Settings via Uprev. Very firm upshifts and downshifts, but how strong you wanna make them will depend on how long you want your gear to last! lol

Get a Transgo valve body upgrade for $230 at Summit. Take the car to a competent transmission specialist and you'll be shifting faster than a GTR.
