Just got done with an oil change. Paid $12 with the PP jug and M1108 filter I brought. Total cost is about $50. Car feels great. Debating if I want to go to 5-6K like wakeboardr plans to do, or if I should stick to my 3750 interval. I wish someone on here had a UOA on the G37 for PP. Or maybe there is but I haven't seen it.

There's no law that says you can't get one .
Edit: Are you talking about the Pennzoil Platinum or the Pennzoil Ultra? The Ultra is the newest one -- probably too new to have a UOA done already. Ultra is supposed to be the ester-based brand.

Damn, Mobile1 is not full synthetic???
I just put a 5 quart bottle into my g37.
I was wondering if 5 quarts of oil is enough for each oil change.
Should I put in more? If so, can I put in PP or PU to mix with my current 5 quarts of M1?

It will say in your owner's manual. Check the "Capacities and Reccomended Fuel/Lubricants" section. For my 2009 sedan, it's 5-1/8 quarts with a filter change, or 4-7/8 quarts without.

There are no Esters in Penzoil Ultra.
Over on bob is the oil guy, there is a Penzoil Ultra FAQ where ultra questions were provided by the forum members, and the Penzoil engineering and sales/brand manager team replied to the questions - check out #14
14. Has Pennzoil® incorporated any type of Esters into the base oil blend for Pennzoil Ultra™?
No ester base oils were used or are required in the Pennzoil Ultra™ range.
It would apear, after looking at the VBOA and viscosity tests, that PU is all about keeping you engine ultra-clean and carbon free, and not so much about super-slipperiness. It is a blended base III.
They also say:
30. Other than cleaning, what benefits are there in changing from Pennzoil Platinum®?
The Pennzoil Ultra™ formulation is a very robust product! In addition to the credentials posted on the label, Pennzoil Ultra™ has outstanding cleansing capabilities, turbo performance, great wear protection, excellent shear stability, etc. You also have access to a 15 year/500,000 mile limited warranty.
