Looking to buy LSD
No, I'm not a refugee from a rave; can anybody point me in the direction of a vendor who sells aftermarket or salvaged differentials for the 370/G37? I want an LSD for my journey AT, and I've been looking, but I can't find a vendor who sells replacement differentials thta fit my car for sure. I'd prefer to look at various mechanical LSDs like a torsen, but the stock viscous would be fine off a salvage, or if significantly cheaper....

Okay,I did some research and it looks like, for aftermarket, the Quaife differential is a quiet, reliable and super-efficient drop-in replacement for around $1300.
The VLSD off a 2007-2008 350z/g35 would work as well, and be alot cheaper? I \'m reading that the quaife is much better, and more reliable, but I can't get a good idea of the price difference.

I want LSD because I want to flyyyy...down the street, that is. IMO, a good LSD makes a huge difference in being able to actually use the limited torque these engines have...I wanted the sport package in order to get the LSD, but I didn't want the sport suspension - I figured I'd just pickup a new pumpkin at a later time....

The quaife is reportedly nice and silent, and hooks up like nobody's business. LSD is essential for getting your engine's torque to the ground - no LSD, uneven and unequal power delivery - may get as bad as only 60% at times. And btw, is a far superior differential to the stock VLSD which is reportedly very slow to react.

Not true - I had a torson on my G8 and it was silent and deadly, and had no impact on ride quality or added noise.
