Jake if you are reading this, hold off on buying a new clutch and try another dealer. I brought my car into the dealer today, and they are repairing the clutch slave cylinder, in which they said is the defect.

Hey I was driving my 08 G37 w/60,140 miles on it today and suddenly my clutch pedal just went to the floor. I could still drive the vehicle but barley could I even put it in gear. I drove to my local Infiniti dealer and they said that theyd call me in the morning and tell me whats wrong. Any input??

The input is listed.

If you don't know how to really drive MT the Nissan clutch is notorious for burning out. It was common with my 350Z and the strange uptake doesn't help.

As mention if the clutch master cylinder is faulty one CAN and SHOULD argue that the defective part will cause abnormal clutch wear and there for should be 100% covered. Just like the BS of aftermarket parts causing failure.

So get them to first admit the clutch master cylinder is defective (look up TSBS mentioned here) and then you can say it caused the failure.

But clutches do wear out. They ARE covered for 10-12,000 miles because the user can ruin it quick.
