I just use Hypertech programmer once on my 2009 G37 sedan. It's working however I found one weird thing with ECU programming. As soon as it starts doing "READING COMPUTER", the engine cooling fan kicks in (I heard some noisee from engine bay) and stays on until "WRITING COMPUTER" is finished. Everyone see the same phenomenon?
Should I do programming when engine cools down completely next time?

Good to hear these answer. Now I feel more comfortable.
I also sent my question to Hypertech tech support yesterday. Here's the answer I got this morning:
"This is all normal, no need to let the engine cool off before programming. The programmer has to unlock multiple computers before it starts the writing process and it is normal to hear relays clicking and the fan to activate."
Great support from Hypertech, too. Thanks
