*** Got an email today from Kenny... The 2010's Update is OUT! Just about to hook up the unit and see if I can get the new tune off the Hypertech website given the email instructions.

I guess.. What I got was an email titled "Ready for updates" and instructions were "Install the software off of our website. Go to customer support and select software downloads. Download the very first one that comes up, it will say tuner update software v2. After you download the software ONLY CLICK UPDATE TUNER ONE TIME"

So did that and guess its ready to try on the car now? Dunno.. I'll update with any progress.

I uninstalled... then re-installed the app. No update. lol

If they have one now, I'm sure tomorrow will be the time to check. As of 6PM Central, there's no update on their website.

Just Tried it. IT said my calibration is not supported even though I got an email and had supplied my information.

Thanks but my computer is not letting me open it, just jibberish. Will the new unit I buy have the updated 2010 files and where should I buy?

I'd wait until they "officially" release it.. it's the same physical unit as the 2008-2009 models... they are just updating the software/firmware.

Keep in mind, this just flashes your ECU with their canned tune. You cannot do a custom tune with it.

Try right-clicking the link, and saving it to your desktop... it should open up that way.

Hey bro when that happened I chose to receive notification if a tuner update is out this morning I got an email telling me there is a update. I called and double checked and they said I should update. I did and it worked like a charm.

Nice. My guess is that they are busy updating their system. Heck, their homepage shows updates for a bunch of cars. Wven the 2011 Camaro, and the drop-down menu only goes up to 2010. I still haven't been able to update my unit. But I did give themy VIN and SN of my HT unit. I'm sure it'll happen soon.

So, have you updated your car? Did you drive the car? Impressions?

The throttle restriction removal from 0-60 is probably the only improvement. Car Pulls much faster to 60 and a bit more responsive.
