Review Got my car logged via UpRev Cipher

Yeah the guy with the cipher told me two 2nd gear runs were more than enough.. so I took both data logs and averaged them out as the numbers were too close anyways. I also averaged the readings from both left and right headers.
I'm also using an equivalent of 91 octane fuel, wonder how the ignition timing chart would change if I upgrade to 93.. I can see where the "93 octane yields more power" argument comes from now

Whoever told you that sure had something illegal in his blood
It does not "ignite" better, it's just more resistant to knock. Our engines are smart enough to detect knock, something very probable with an 11.0:1 compression ratio (Most ferrari's use 11.2:1 btw!!), and compensate for that by retarding ignition timing, to a point where you have no more knock. Higher octane will allow the engine to advance timing a little which is where you'll see your gains from.
Just thought I'd clear that out as it's a very common mis-conception
