Your owner's manual recommends oil changes at 3750 or 7500 miles. You can change you oil at intervals of up to 7500 miles with no issues from Infiniti regarding your warranty because it is their written recommendation. If you choose to spend more money changing it more often than that, it's up to you.
I personally recommend that everyone get a UOA of their chosen motor oil to verify and document how well it's doing it's job. Without that, anyone's advice is a wild guess without basis. With it, you have facts and science on your side should you have a problem down the road. It also helps the community to build up a database of what actually works and how well it works in the VQVHR under a variety of conditions and OCI.
