Never once heard of this problem. Try resetting the ECU

1. Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch “ON” and wait 3 seconds.
2. Repeat the following two procedures quickly five times within 5 seconds:
1. Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD).
2. Fully release the accelerator pedal.
3. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 10 seconds until the CEL starts blinking.
4. Fully release the accelerator pedal (while the CEL is still blinking)
5. Wait about 10 seconds.
6. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for more than 10 seconds.
7. Fully release the accelerator pedal (The CEL light will continue to blink).
8. Turn ignition switch to “OFF” position and now you can start the car. The CEL light should be gone.

Aghh! u not the only one who has this problem! When I got my FI HFC's installed. my car does the same thing dude! When u go about 70-100% full thorttle. at low RPM, from say like 2000-3000 and below, u nail the gas, and car has a few second Stumble, then goes! After my Tune with the Cobb. does not seem too bad, but still does it! not sure why, thought it would go away with my Tune, but guess not! LOL. Thinking the car was running lean with my HFC's Cat-Back, and Injens, but now my A/F ratios are all good, it still has some of this hesitation at low RPM's. So don't worry, as long as no CEL showing. just may half to live with it till e find out why it does this?

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't that mean that i should feel the same hesitation even with my stock set-up? It isn't the case, so how can it be infiniti's drive by wire?

It's the way the car has been tuned from the factory. They tuned it in a way for my grandmother and your grandmother to drive it without going all over place or having a heart stroke from the instant punch lol

It may be more pronounced with the HFC but it's been like that since day 1.

Hey guys thanx for the info so far... I can try to get a vid( Not likly thought as it only does it when I'm driving) but it is exactly like fuel cut. .The car boggs down and actully sounds like its back fireing.. You can hear the exhaust go,, PUG,POP PUG,POP, PUG while shuttering, then the car goes.. I will try the pedal reset and hope that works but it is so bad sometimes the car actually stops, No fuel at all and the RPM's dont move either??

Hopefully you find the problem and get it fixed... it sounds pretty bad... any CEL ? could be a bad O2 sensor or maybe twisted wires on the O2, cause my car had a bad stalll when I first put my BERKS in and I damaged 2 O2 sensors (please dont ask, I know I put the suckers in right, bad luck I guess?) I took it to the dealer and they replaced the o2's under warranty ! should check it out... but first do the ECM reset, it was a PITA at first and should take a coupe of tries...

the only problem I have with the BERKS HFC is that it makes the stock exhaust sound like a fart can when you accelerate and when it shifts into next gear (5AT). Anyone else with this kinda ordeal ? was thinking of header wrapping should fix this problem ?

Anyway, just waiting for the my ARK exhaust to help clear this fart can problem up !
