Help Tranny problem

sorry to bring this thread back up but my car started to do this today. Driving in triptronic and it automatically went to D. Turned the car off and it started working fine but stopped working shortly after.

Any Updates or more info this? Was it the sensor as posted above? Would something like this be cover under the power train warranty?

2008 G35 sedan with 22000 miles
