My clutch suddenly feels a lot "softer" ....

So my 2009 g37s 6mt just turns 640 miles today.
I was driving home, suddenly the clutch feels a lot "softer".
Has this happen to anybody here?
Thanks

its broken in i guess? is there any pressure when you engage the clutch? after 28k miles, like 1/4 the way in when i engage the clutch, theres a softenness to it but the other 3/4 way in, there is strong resistance.

When I push down the pedal, it feels about the same as before.
But when I let it out, I just don't have to use that much holding force as before.
I was expected the clutch to be broken-in gradually.
It was just so sudden.

Doesn't sound familiar, I'm on my second one of these this year and the clutch feel on both was pretty much the same (engagement point, force etc.) one was 6K mi the second one is at 400mi.

Check your fluid level.
If it's low, check for leaks and refill it.
If it's OK, I'd take it in to the dealership to be checked out.

I exactly had the same problem.
I just left it for several hours, then it came back to normal.
I wonder if there was any problem.

Do you have an aftermarket exhaust?
I'm pretty sure this is because of the clutch fluid.

Soft pedals on brakes or clutch is caused by low or overheated hydraulic fluid. If it goes back to normal after some rest then that points to overheated fluid.
