AAM 370Z Twin Turbo: COMPLETE 500RWHP/372RWTQ

thought you guys should take a look at this... very interesting stuff... applies to us because we share the VQ37VHR motor.

the very interesting part is they are using CoBB AccessPort for tuning. this whole thing with us being screwed with no timing adjustment is bothering me. somehow altered got it to work somehow, you need to remove a few degrees with boost so they did something and its working fine for them.

Sam @ GTM is using uprev which i dont see it being wiely available for us but yet he's done a batch of TT setups so its cherry for him.

so when is it our turn Cobb and Uprev ???

check out the link here.

Well at least they got it right on the 370z, I know they fcked up the G37 they had.

Am I the only one that thinks their torque numbers are low though?

Another shop in FL (HP Logic) also used a Cobb to tune a GTM twin turbo'ed 370Z. I asked for more details, but never got a response. They did say that they had other plans for timing adjustments, but never went into details.

The torque numbers are low, you would think they'd be around the 420-430tq mark. They also tune to be very conservative and safe (run very rich).

+1 on the torque being pretty low. I wanted to question that also, I was thinking the same with a conservative tune. I dunno about rich though unless I see the A/F chart.

something isnt right with the torque. thats 4cyl TQ #s. running a lot of fuel actually creates more TQ than running leaner... esp from our VQs so something doesnt add up..
