Hp is simply a function of torque and rpm.

With a high revving car like the G/Z, ft/lbs will always be lower than hp. No two ways about it. It's physics.

This is not a Mustang with a 6k redline, and this is not a small displacement turbo engine that has boost that tapers at redline.

Dayum Mike why do you have to geek up threads eh? haha

I know what you're saying, what we're saying is for the same car (G37) at around the same boost and power, a GTM stage 1 puts down higher torque numbers..

My guess from looking at the dyno sheet is that this build uses smaller turbos; it seems to spool earlier.

Is it one turbo for lower rpm and one for higher rpm like the 335?

The spooling in is so smooth actually I'm surprised you can even spot it

maybe they are using the garrett turbo's b/c of fitment issues... not much space in that engine bay.

But so is GTM, unless AAM is running an even trim

i think the 3.7 engine feels big enough that it may not need small turbo to compensate imo...this looks very sweeet!

If the filter can still come out, it will be one messy oil change:
