If you search, there are already a lot of threads on this. Regarding HFCs, they are about the same. Some prefer FI others prefer Berk. On exhausts, it depends whether you want dual canisters that are visible like HKS, or hidden like MXP. Also MXP will be much louder with HFCs then HKS with HFCs. I have Kinetix HFCs with HKS and like it. There is a little bit of rasp, but it is not very loud and no drone on the highway.

I didnt have a stock exhaust when I got it, but I noticed a big difference in performance and sound. I definitely felt the extra gain in power, but I was also running a tuned map with my Cobb. Overall, best performance mod that makes a difference, without going FI.

Now adays everyone is going forced induction, and if you even thinking about a possibility of going with twin turbo/sc I would really recomend the GTM 3' exhaust. you will save yourself at least a grand in cost by not having to change the exhaust later and I personally think the sound quality is great. Ive only herd that exhaust on turbo'd cars but its a clean sounding mean looking exhaust. Just thought i would throw in my 2 cents
And I would also try doing headers at the same time you do the exhaust simply cause its more labor hours and ALOT easier to do at the same time if you decide to do it yourself ( which is not hard at all).
