Hi guys, my friend is going 2 buy a G37 Coupe, but he keeps arguing the 6mt is faster then the 7at, can u guys plz tell me wats faster?

 

7 AT has been shown to be faster than the 6M in various auto rags, but there are other issues with it, for sure...

 

Let him get what he wants.

 

Buying an AT over an MT just because it's "faster" is simply ridiculous. Does he spend his weekends on the drag strip?

edit - all the "guys plz he;lp which car is faster the g37 or the bmw/mb/audi/lexus/whatever" are equally ridiculous.

 

Manual cars used to be faster and more fun, now whey are just more fun. In the G37 the 7AT and 6MT are the same acceleration wise. Anyone who cares that much about 1-2 tenths of a second should get a faster car.

 

"Fun" is a relative term... depending on who you have as a passenger... sometimes it helps to have a free hand...
