I would think you'd have posted it here since YOU started this thread in the first place!

Thanks for continuing to update us. After I got 9K+ miles on an Eneos OCI with decent results, I'm satisfied that it's what I want to continue to use so I haven't sent off any more samples.

I know, I should have . Doing it on the fly at work!

What filter are you using? I'd like to try ~8000mi interval next but am worried about how Nissan filter would hold up.

Wix. I can't remember the number, but it's the application for a '96 Maxima not the one for our G. It's slightly larger than the application for the G37 but any Nissan/Infiniti filter should fit. I just use the same for both.

You could always change filter only and top off half way through your OCI. That's how a lot of folks who use y ear intervals do it.

Eneos fans: Eneos is introducing a new oil called Sustina.

Here's some information
- it's supposed to do an excellent job of cleaning.

According to the Eneos Facebook page, Amazon will start stocking the oil in mid-June. It comes in 5W-30, 0W-20 and 0W-50. Pricing is rumored to be $11.99/quart.

Also, I have read where the old Eneos 5W-30 is now full synthetic instead of syn blend.

Thanks for sharing.

The only reason to pay more for oil would be if it protected longer. I'm paying about $7 per quart for oil that works well for 9K+ miles. I've settled on 7500 OCI. I can't see paying $25 more per oil change when what I've got now is working well. Maybe somebody will use it and post a UOA that shows significantly better numbers. I doubt it though.

If your worried about your filter you could try a Amsoil EAO filter . They guarntee them for 1 year or 25k thats what Im running with my 0-30 and I do about 7500-8k about 6months on it . The bigger filter is a EAO13 if your curious.

hey BB,
i see that youre running about 7500 OCI. what do you do about the oil filter? do you ever change it between intervals or do you leave it on the whole 7500miles? im using wix filters on pennzoil ultra (which i got <0.1 insolubles in 4000miles) and im planning on changing to eneos and purolator pureone filters (cuz i got them onsale and i also hear that they are just as good) and running it between 6k-7k miles on my first eneos interval

I'm running PU with a Wix filter for 7500 OCIs and only change the filter with the oil. My UOAs were fine.

Car is about to go off warranty, so I think I will start upping the OCI and get some more UOAs to see if I can safely go longer on the oil.
