HELP: CEL Codes P1148, P0031
Just installed the Berks HFC and had the CEL come on " Service Engine Soon"... I hooked up the Cobb AP and the codes read are:
P1148 Closed Loop, Bank 1
P0031 HO2S Heater Circuit Low ( Bank 1 Sensor 1)
Can anyone please help me to figure out what is gong on? By the looks of it, i broke something, and dont wanna take it to the dealer and have them question me about the mods done to the car... will these codes damage my car if i drive the car around ? any help would be appreciated... thanks in advance !

Looks like you may have broken the 02 sensor in the header! Which is causing your CEL light and other codes! needs to be replaced! when u drive it does it hesitate alot when you floor it from a slow 10-20mph roll? if it does then it's that sensor in the header! cause when the dealer installed mine, got the same code, and it had mad hesitation when i dorve it like that till the new sensor came in! good luck!

yeah my punk a$$ did the install myself... everything went well till i got to the driver side and rounded the head off the top bolt... other then that, the install went good... but i did get quoted from the dealer... and yeah your right, they aint cheap... but i was told just to bring the car in and dont worry about it... so im gonna have to wait till the 24th and go from there... atleast i reserved the M35 to drive around and pimp in, while my car is in the shop... will keep you guys posted

Update:
Took the car in for service... so I did break the damn O2 Sensors on Bank 1 which is the Driver side, upper and lower O2... Good news is that they were able to cover them under warranty (not to mention they loaned me a Pimp A$$ 2009 M35 for a loaner) and should be in within 3 weeks or so. Will update when they get here and installed and let you know the difference on how the car runs.

Car fixed !
UPDATE: So much for damn 3 weeks for the parts to come in... ha ! Took nearly 3 months ! It took alot longer for the parts to come in only cause it was on back order... so I turned the car in on 09OCT and when I got the car back they changed out the two O2 sensors I damaged, the TSB for the rear axle and gave me 2 brand new TPMS sensors to clear the damn (!) light... and the best part is that they made it all cover under warranty !
I would have to say that it was worth the wait to get the parts in... cause no the car pulls alot harder... it sacrafices alittle on the low end torque but greatly makes up for it on the top end ! Im more than satisfied with the mods that I have done to the car so far... just waiting on my Greddy SE exhaust to come in...
Word of advice... have a respectable shop do the install on the HFC's or Test Pipes or if you have the flow, go through the dealer so it will be backed under warranty for their service... dont make the 370Z video fool you... its a PITA ! Good luck and happy modding !
