Time for an oil change?

When changing your oil, just curious to see what schedule most follow?
  1. Synthetic vs regular? and frequency?
  2. Which brand do you use, and does brand matter?
  3. Do you take it back to the dealership, your own mechanic, or are you a DIY'er?
Thanks!

I'm sure this will generate a lot of interesting responses.

Yes and Yes. Frequency as per manual (3750 or 7500 miles) depending on driving conditions and preferences. Just check your oil level regularly.

Read the manual - 5W30 that meets specs. Nissan Ester Oil if you feel you want the recommended OEM fill and/or if you have the VVEL tapping issue.

Doesn't matter as long as it's documented. Personally I'm typically a DIY'er but with my new cars I tend to use the dealer and in this case purchased a maintenance plan.
