rev hang and slow throttle response

i've been on a few other boards (both g and non-g) and noticed that the drive by wire systems may be responsible for the rev hang and poor throttle response.

looking over on the genesis coupe forum, i saw that their situation has been resolved with a reprogramming/reflash of the ecu. is anyone who has had a reflash through cobb, technosquare, etc. noticing better performace in this area?

I have done the T-square reflash and it REALLY improved the response. That is one of the things I first noticed when I got the car back. Also a grounding kit helps... with the tranny at the very least.
