With the proper cam grinds, you can make the 5.6L Nissan engine lope like a sob too I agree with you 110% though, there is no replacement for displacement when you're talking about torque curves. Which is why I'm not interested in building the stock 3.7L engine.

For those of you wondering, I can purchase the drop out 5.6L Nissan motor, with accessories, fuel system, computer etc for $2000. Granted it will need to be built up if I do this
I'll bet that vette is frigging monster to drive. What are you doing with a lowly g37? HAHA

save your $. always sounds fun on paper but anyone who does a complete swap knows what a headache it can be getting everything to work. for $10k you can be tt safely with over 450rwhp/400rwtq.

you must have never done a complicated swap before... took us 4 weeks to do the v10 in a mustang, including harness splicing.

TT 3.7L will have nowhere near the torque curve of an SC 5.6 V8. Which is why the ideas of this swap. There's more to effiency than the peak hp/tq numbers.

It all depends on what you're planning on doing with the car.

Well I'll tell you this. The Titan motor is lower compression ratio than the VQ37VHR so it will handle FI tons better right off the bat. Also if you goof up your VQ37VHR motor right now, you're going to be replacing so very expensive heads.

GT Motorsports makes a stroker kit for the VK56 if you really want to make scary power. How much reliable power can you make with the VQ37VHR motor, considering no one can make you a fully built motor yet? How much power can you make with a fully built 5.6 liter V8 and forced induction? Still waiting to find out, but it's for certain going to be more than the G37 motor will make.

The ECU from the Titan plugs right in to the stock vehicle harness on the G35, but will require some re-wiring on the G37 vehicle harness. In either use, you'd use the stock Titan engine harness and stock Titan ECU. We can handle the ECU tuning and making sure gauges etc work like stock. We're just waiting on someone that wants to do the custom fabrication to do a swap like this. So lets do it already.

what about the fx50 motor? 390 hp and 368 tq. With intakes, exhaust, hfc you can easily make over 400 hp.

Have you HEARD how choked that engine is? I'd bet an exhaust alone could net 20+ whp on that car.

i was thinking this too? wouldnt this be a better option because of the fact that it is more a sportier setup while the QX56 and Titan it built to haul. one would think that working with this engine would be alot easier, just my .02

I REALLY wanna see a Nissan 4.8L VTC engine (TB48DE) from the Patrol in a G. it's a I6, and supposedly the largest 6cyl in a production car. It makes insane power with turbos. Also supposed to be similar in design to the RB26.
