He has external wastegates which require downpipes. That means he has a pipe from the turbo directly to the exhaust, which is essentially a test pipe. The external wastegates are connected to the downpipes. The downpipes are 3".
So basically all exhaust gasses pass through the turbo? I was going to TT sometime later this year, and was thinking of selling my invidia HFC and get motordyne art pipes, but I guess they're useless if I was going for the same setup as christian
Yes, the turbo harnesses all the energy from the exhaust gas flow. If you want to do Christian's setup then the test pipes would be useless. Or you can go with an internal wastegate and run whatever test pipe you want.
Inspection will fail without windshield washer resivor , emission pass no issues. As long as your codes are clean and no check engine light , you will pass emission.
