Has anyone have this happened to them?

I was just cruisin at around 70 and all of sudden the battery light came on and the brake light came on and my steering was extremely hard to turn.

I remember when some one posted that their battery died on them and had to get it replaced. so that is what i thought it was until the tow truck came and shined a flashlight on the engine compartment. It looked like a new style of spaghetti, man it was shredded to fine little threads.

Towed to dealer at 1am, back on the road free of charge by noon with no appointment.

It lasted on a charge for over 40 miles and the temp never got above normal spot on gauge, amazing cooling this car has.

I've never heard of anyone shredding their Serpentine belt this soon...I'm assuming you didn't modify that or any of its subcomponents, right? No aftermarket pulleys, etc?

 

Nope totally stock in the pulley department.

Just JWT's, stillen grounding kit and custom exhaust, that's it.
