What clutch kit for GTM turbo?

Hopefully ordering GTM's turn key kit soon, what clutch kit should i get? Do i really need a twin-plate? i am only going to the rated 455hp / 330ft-lb of the system. They say they are using the stock clutch with 800whp so i dont know if i need a new plate or what?

My choice would be Exedy as well. When do you plan to do your install? GTM or local? I'm thinking of the stage II and upgrading the clutch and exhaust. Next year most likeley. I'd like to drive out to GTM in Cali to get it done, but it might be more feasible to buy and have it installed/tuned locally.

OP, if this will be a daily driver, I would just get a single Exedy upgraded clutch and lightweight flywheel. I've driven a car with a twin plate clutch and I would hate it for daily driving.

If I had a MT, I would hold off on a new clutch and run the stock one until it starts slipping. If you don't boost from light to light, the stock clutch may work out just fine.

The TT install is completely separate from the clutch install so there is no cost benefit in doing it all at once.

Then switch to Exedy when the stock one dies.

The G35 has the 4.2 stroker.

Your car would actually be a G45

NO, you should use the search function because it probably has been asked and answered ad nauseum.
