for me calm is around 3k...up to 4k for some nice pull...5k if i want to really feel it...and above that is to really get things going.
unless sometimes i just feel like letting the revs climb up before i shift...sounds nice to just let em climb but not gun it.

that actually to me is more agressive driving going to 5k.

i shift between 2 and 3 normal driving. If I wanted to really have a nice, quiet-ish ride, then I shift at about 2K.
If I wanna rock out, then I push it to about 5-6. If I really wanted to propel the car, then I dont shift until I slip past 7K.
Why are you shifting at 7K each time? What kind of gas mileage are you getting?? Probably **** poor.
The longer you stay in a lower gear, the crappier your MPG is.

lmao Listen its not a mt there is no perf every car has a delay on the shifting with the paddle shifters and yes grounding kit should help you in some what but it doesnt mean you will get perf shifts from 1st to 2nd if u really wonna see how your car takes OF then kick it to 4k rpms and floor it 1s its at about 7.1 kick it into 2nd it will switch at 7.5 or 7.6 cuz of the delay but then you will not lag or stall you'll fly Lol if you try it out send me a pm =] let me know
but you know guys i noticed this , if i shift at 6.900 RPM on both 1st and 2nd , the 3rd and 4th gear will be slooow! the car just loses it ! :S
but if i push it all the way to the redline , 3rd and 4th are much faster! thats why i want to eliminate lag in 1st and 2nd to reach 3rd and 4th in the best way possible.
