Engine accelerates by itself

Hi all,

I have a 2008 G37 coupe and today i was totally tripped out. I was driving on the highway in bumper to bumper traffic and I noticed I keep getting very close to the car in front. I than realized that the car is accelerating by itself and actually shifter into second. I had to fight with it with the brakes. Then I turned it off, and drove a bit in the city and didnt notice much. Than when I turned it on to go home, it started up with a louder more unusual noise and reved higher than ive seen before. On the way home it was traffic free on the highway so didnt notice anything.

Should I be concerned? Any thoughts?

it may be the engine surge issue that is covered by a TSB.
