6MT vs 7AT for forced induction

Wouldn't the 7AT be better for forced induction than the stick? Just sounds more logical because there's that extra gear and lower final drive. Just curious what the experts here think because it would help me in my purchase of either a used or new G.

Agree with Shum.

My buddy has a TT'd sedan with 475 hp. He has the 5AT and has had zero problems yet. He did have to make some very minor improvements (which are now a part of GTM's Kit).

But as far as TT'ing a 7AT, it hasn't been done yet. But my guess is that it would be just fine if you're looking for 500ish hp. Might be best to contact GTM directly though.

my greddy TTwas fine on my 03 5at. Just has an valve body upgrade done, so the shifts would be quicker/firmer. This mod saves the "clutch-packs" in the auto. I would think anyting below 500hp would be fine/safe...
