BLACK BETTY'S V.2 GROUNDING KIT in BLUE and more
Yup another Grounding Wire Thread.... and it's just because they are that PIMP!!
So I have a 6MT and I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a BBGW Kit v.2 in Blue.
Lets start out with some pictures of the kit.
Here are some pics of the wires right out of the package in BLUE:
This is the second kit that I have installed from Black Betty's garage... The first v.2 kit was on BlackJacks 5AT in Carbon Fiber TechFlex.
Pics of the CF Wires:
I figured there is plenty of How To's already posted and BB's Intructions need no improving.... so if you have questions you can ask... but ill post some install pics of both blue and cf wires...
My Car with Blue:
Here is the wires that make the upgrade V.2 on the Throttle Bodies:
Wire running behind the motor to the driver side intake:
Here is some pics of BlackJacks CF wires just to give you an idea of the CF look:
So... My thoughts after installing 2 kits and rolling in mine car after the install...
First: The Craftsmanship of these wires are perfect... I tried to make one of these wires with the techflex and let me tell you it takes some skill cause the one i tried to make looked like complete trash... so props to making these so nice....
Second: The Install was straight forward and very easy... a complete newb could install these wires...
Third: The Performance... Like I said I have a 6MT and when I test the car out I couldnt tell a difference... now... when you upgrade wires you are doing 2 things... 1. your NOT hurting the car one bit.... and 2. you are helping the car out by upgrading the electical system.
So... Did the BBGW kit help my car? Absolutely... Just because I cant feel a difference doesnt mean it didnt help... The upgrade was a small upgrade and you just cant feel upgrades that are small... So I ask again... Do I think it helped my car out???? SURE!!
Now... on a 5AT or 7AT... You can see a difference by decreasing shift lag... but you just cant measure that on a 6MT...
Now I ask... Would I buy the kit again? Yup sure would!
Why?
3 reasons:
1. It looks great... gave a nice dress up look for my engine bay
2. It upgraded my electric system for my engine
3. It upgraded my electric system for my sound system
Do I recommend this kit:
5AT and 7AT: Its a must! yes
6MT: Yes I do recommend this for looks and upgrading your electrical system!
*** Look for a detailed Review from BlackJack on his 5AT coming soon!!***
Thanks to Black Betty for making a great kit for my G37...

I totally agree with you 100%. I've just install the blue ones myself and it was very simple for a non-mechanic plus there a beauty. For 5AT I sure felt the differents.

This is def on my list of things to buy for my G. Also wanna get illuminated kick plates and not sure what other mods. But a nice grounding kit seems to make sense.
