Help Whining like a SuperCharger!!!
#31
Them and every other INFINITI dealer in the entire united states. They are quickly losing my money. I may never buy another infiniti again and tell everyone I know to steer clear of them as their service is nothing short of horrible. I'd get better service by taking my car to a rodeo and letting the bull break it in for a bit... I've been denied service on my car every time i bring it in on a first sign of an issue. Usually takes corporate, 3-5 visits and sitting in with their top tech and talking to the GM before I finally get them to accept the issue is there...
I'm about to get my tranny checked out too because I get the same exact gear whine as talked about here. It only started when infiniti opened up my gearbox and replaced the synchro's in it.

^^
try leaving it in neutral with the clutch out and rev it slightly....do you hear a whining noise then?
then put the clutch in and give it another couple revs and check if the whining noise went away.
That's what i was hearing along with it whining through the gears as i drive and right now my car is at infiniti getting a new tranny and throw out bearing.
