Newb oil question and dash rattle

I don't have time to get to the dealership for my 3500 miles oil change. I'm just going to go to a quik lube but I wanted to know what kind of oil you guys recommend. What does Infiniti use?

Other question, I've searched about interior rattles but mine seems different. The dash makes a squeeking noise everytime i hit a small bump. It sounds like rubber on rubber. Has anyone had this problem?

I believe Mobil-1. It should say in the Manual, no?

For premium synthetic, I'd personally recommend Motul 300V 5W30.

Mobile 1 is the choice for me. However, if at all possible...... stay away from the jiffy lube places. Even if you have to go out of your way to get to the dealership, you might be better off. Those quick lube places can be hazardous for your car. Those guys are horrible with their sloppiness and very often overtighten your drain plug. I've heard a bunch of horror stories about them.

Does it sound like rubber? When I grab my dash (the entire piece with the speedometer etc.) I can wiggle it back and forth and it sounds like rubber on rubber. It's the worst. Passengers ask me how much I paid for this car???

rattle

I have had a rattle since i picked her up in November. only have 2k miles on it so far, and the rattle is getting worse, really bad over rigid bumps, and going up a incline at slow speed, like my driveway, comming at it from a 45 degree angle. It sounds like it is comming from the lower portion of the windshield almost like its creaking...

Haven't taken it in yet, a little hesitant to let them play with the car but its really bugging me... may just wait for warmer weather to see if it goes away...

There are A LOT of threads about the oil. Seems like everyone has something they like that works for them. If you do a search that would help.

Re: take it to your local dealer, and have it looked at. Be sure you can replicate the rattle at will before going.
