never had a problem where i use to live, temperatures would be in the low 30s to 40s at night. but today both cars wouldnt start one being a toyota tacoma. had to get it jump started and it worked the first key turn. now for my G37 thing wont start at all, even with the help of a jump. anyone recommend a heavy duty battery for the cold? or any other techniques to get this car started? thanks
that's not true. alternator will keep the car running
but startup issues just cus its' 30-40F is weird, probably just consequence with both cars at the same time, take to the dealer?
no it won't. the car runs off the Battery and the alternator charges the Battery.
If the battery can not hold the any charge...the car dies out.
if the the alternator is not charging anymore but the battery is good, you would see the volt gauge slowly drop which is a sign to rush to the garage...LOL
trust me, i know these thing....every kind of issue with batteries and alternators have happened to me
