So you blame the OEM clutch as being weak? Yet in the same post you say you learned how to drive stick in the car and your dad would routinely burn the clutch? Come on dude, you suck at driving stick, don't put the blame on the clutch.

umm, what that means is I learned how to drive stick on it so I wore it down as well as when my dad drives it he burns it, so when the OEM clutch is weak to begin with it just wares it down faster

All I don't want to hear it from ppl who don't even hae stick

Good news is JWT clutch/flywheel ftw!!! I called it that this was going to happen a while ago

well i can agree with you on that. i learned how to drive stick on a buddy's Hyundai Excel. He had to replace that clutch about a week after i was done with it.

^^^ he probably let you drive it because he was replacing his clutch... no way i'd let anyone learn on my car... but i'll let people that know how to drive stick drive my car...

lol, probably. the thing did have 130K on the original clutch. i would definitely not be learning how to drive a stick in a $35K+ new car.

18k is pretty short, but ive heard of evo clutches wearing out in just 300 miles, so yeah you never know. Atleast the new clutch will hopefully last longer, and if it doesnt, THEN! we can blame it on user error.

300 miles? what's the full story? that seems highly unlikely, unless the driver was intentionally jacking up the clutch
