Despite what a dealer may tell you, the AP is not compatible with 09s. Even so, the ECU Dump will still work. I'm going to do this later today and email them the results. They will start working on AP firmware updates and maps for the ECU in my car. They could really use more 09 data so anyone who is willing to purchase an AP, knowing they won't really be able to get the benefit from it right away, would be a big help. I'm hoping to have something back from them in a month or so.
see told ya that they have great customer service. You should definately try to help them out starting on the 09 so other 09 can benefit from your help for the community

Yeah, they offered great Tech Support, but we couldn't resolve the issue over the phone, we went through updates and resetting the ecu.. Nothing worked.. Cars down for a week now..

if your not saving the stock ten about 10-15 min. The new updates allow them to flash a little faster now

What happen? Please explain, thanks.

So let me guess, cars down for a week, ECU is being sent into them? They gonna retrieve your original map and send it back to you? I seriously sometimes dont like how my expensive 08-09 cars life is dependent on a $500 plastic gadget.

Accessport update

Said I would update on my accessport progress. Cobb of Plano has pulled my dynos. 1. installed stage 2 91 oct got 274 whp and 225 lb torque. 2. a week later Cobb up graded the stage 2 to 93 oct and I got 286whp and 237 lb torque. The butt dyno felt really good I drove for a week. 3. and today I installed the new stage2+ test drove and am undecided about the results. It feels faster in some areas but doesn't pull as hard in 5th and 6th but pulls harder in 1st thur 4th. I'm going to let Cobb dyno again and see if they can up grade to 93 octane. I'll post those also. Cobb uses a Mustang dyno and they generally read 10% lower than some others, just food for thought. Cobb of Plano (TX) is looking for a stock G37 to set a baseline. This would help the DFW folks out a lot. Not sure how not having headers will affect the Stage2+ we'll just have to see. Last will be a Cobb custom tune but it will be a while I'm thinking about headers but want something other than Stillen.

That's good to hear and thanks for the update.
What was the AFR on each run? I would love to see the dyno sheet.

I am a bit confused about the Cobb Accessport and intakes. If I run my Greddy, y-pipe, and JWT, would I use the stock syle map or stage 1? Looking at the map notes, it says stock intakes only under stage 1. Can anyone shed some light on this? So is it ok to use JWTs with the accessport?

you can run it on accessport but its not recommended and safe cause you will be running either Lean or Rich depending on where you live and etc. if i were you, use the stock map though but i still dont recommend for aftermarket intake unless u use a custom tune

I've got a modified Injen CAI, FI HFC's and their first exhaust for the G37. With all that my AFR's avg. between 12.7 and 13.0. I didn't run a Cobb stock map so I don't know how that would compare with the stage 2 run. Both stage 1 and 2 are for stock intakes. Stage 2+ is for headers, hfc's and catback exhaust. Try the Cobb stock map and run it for a while than try another map. The 93 oct upgrade made a real difference. Good luck.

Yeah if it says for headers and you dont have headers, dont use it. Or the tune is not perfect, as simple as that A buddy of mine with a 35 HR is going to go do some different tuning on his car this weekend, just wait for the results
